Pellas Development Group has launched a new era in resort living in Nicaragua with the opening of the luxurious Mukul Beach, Golf & Spa in Guacalito de la Isla, a $250-million, 1,670-acre, low-density private beach community on the country’s Emerald Coast.

Guests will also be able to take advantage of seven new custom luxury homes, Antal Legacy Villas, being constructed for purchase adjacent to the award-winning resort.

Designed by world-renowned fab studio in Dallas, Texas, the new villas will overlook the fifth hole of the David McLay Kidd-designed Guacalito Golf Course and the waves breaking on Manzanillo Beach.

Each villa will feature four to six bedrooms, beautifully landscaped outdoor living and dining areas, a swimming pool and a separate pool house suite. The villas will range in size from 4,504 to 5,032 sq. ft., and in price from $1.35 million to $1.5 million.

The design of the villas, like that of Mukul and Guacalito’s recently competed residential neighborhoods of Las Terrazas Condominiums and Verdemar Villas, was inspired by Nicaragua’s Spanish Colonial architectural traditions and Guacalito’s verdant coastal setting.

Each home features adobe walls, red-tiled and palapa roofs and an interior design that artistically incorporates native hardwoods, tiles and stone.

Floor-to-ceiling glass walls open to extend the living space into the outdoors, with shaded seating areas as well as a casual grill and dining area under a poolside palapa.

All villas include central air conditioning, gourmet kitchens equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, large walk-in closets, master bathroom garden areas, covered two-car garages with storage areas and laundry and service quarters.

Owners of Antal Legacy Villas can also opt to purchase an FF&E furniture package and place their residence in the villa rental program operated by Guacalito de la Isla.

The prime location of the villas offers spectacular ocean views and close proximity to Guacalito’s Tres Ceibas Members Beach Club, Bar & Restaurant, Guacalito Golf Course and Mukul Beach, Golf & Spa, all a two-hour drive from Managua International Airport.

Construction on the seven villas will begin in late 2014, with delivery starting in Q3 2015. For more information, visit guacalitodelaisla.com
