Fresh seafood, unique spices, and local dishes are all great reasons that visitors love the dining options during their getaway to The Bahamas and the Caribbean Islands. However, since the opening of Baha Mar in 2017, the art of dining in The Bahamas has been elevated to an entirely new level of diversity and excellence. Designed for the spectacular, this $4.2 billion integrated luxury resort development has the amenities and services to satisfy even the most discerning guests of all ages and desires. Together with three impressive hotel properties (Grand Hyatt, SLS and Rosewood), the development offers 2,300 rooms; 20 restaurants and lounges; the largest casino in the Caribbean, a state-of-the-art convention center; an 18-hole golf course by Jack Nicklaus; nine tennis courts; multiple pools; an ESPA spa; and more than 30 luxury retail outlets.

The 20 restaurants and lounges at Baha Mar offer a rich variety of dining options within the resort – designed to fit multiple budgets and cravings while providing guests with the luxury of choice. Making the most of the local ingredients and international flavors, each dining experience at Baha Mar can be tailored to meet any desire by this collection of celebrated chefs. Here are five of our favorite Baha Mar options.

Stix Noodle Bar

The flavors of Western China are alive and well at Stix Noodle Bar, bringing this distinct style to The Bahamas. Offering hand-pulled noodles and dim sum, guests have the option of eating in the restaurant, or taking it to go so that it can be enjoyed in the hotel room, or around the property. Adjacent to the Casino’s main floor, Stix Noodle Bar is a must-visit.

Shuang Ba

Located at the end of a discreet hallway by the Casino, Shuang Ba offers an elevated Chinese menu within a fashionably elegant restaurant. Executive Chef Brent Martin and his team also offer a number of fresh seafood dishes, as well as a mix of traditional and contemporary dishes such as peking duck and fragran iberico pork.

3 Tides

Located just off of the lobby at the Grand Hyatt, 3 Tides provides guests with an abundance of seafood dishes within this Mediterranean inspired menu, including Ahi Tataki, Grilled Octopus Salad, Caribbean Spiny Lobster and much more. They also offer a breakfast buffet that features other local Bahamian dishes, and the popular tropical smoothie bar.

Conch Shack

Guests cannot miss the opportunity to enjoy a local delicacy like this one at Conch Shack. Located adjacent to Daq Shack just steps from the beach within the esplanade section of the resort; guests savor the seemingly endless preparations of this island staple in an extremely casual and fun atmosphere.

The Bar Noir

Though many of the restaurants have an impressive cocktail list, The Bar Noir is a centerpiece in the Casino, and worthy of a visit (or two). This circular bar mixes up creative, craft cocktails – including the all-time favorites like the rum-focused Dark ‘N’ Stormy; the gin-focused Gimlet; and a new take on Bahamian Sky Juice, the award-winning Cloud 9.
