High-end eco resort is dedicated to emphasizing and preserving the stunning simplicity and beauty of its natural habitat.

A private island retreat off the southwestern coast of Viti Levu in Fiji, Royal Davui Island Resort offers the ultimate island getaway ideal for those seeking romance, rest, and total relaxation. This high-end eco resort is dedicated to emphasizing and preserving the stunning simplicity and beauty of its natural habitat – nestled in jungle foliage, atop a living barrier reef, coral gardens, sapphire blue seas, white sand beaches, and towering palms.

The resort recently put the finishing touches on a head-to-toe makeover of the 10-acre property, including an upgraded pool area, a new lounge, and a refresh of all 16 private vales (Fijian villas).

The new designs infuse a warm tropical vibe – with rattan, roughly hewn stone, pitched thatched roofs, and rich hardwood accents. Highlights include the new Sunset Lounge, an intimate new cocktail spot evoking a tree house motif and nestled in a lush natural setting overlooking the sapphire blue Pacific.

The newly updated pool area serves as a communal hub and sports an expansive 60-foot oval-shaped pool, as well as new private cabanas and sun loungers surrounded by towering palm trees – all with ocean views.

Additional improvements include a new private dining deck with plush circular couch-style seating, a new thatched roof private beach hut for the ultimate in romantic dining and new expanded outdoor decks on four vales, including cushy daybeds and plenty of room for outdoor dining.
