Have you ever sat in Friday night traffic to get to your beach house in The Hamptons and wished there was a better way? Or, have you ever fantasized about bypassing the angry hordes in the airport and being whisked aboard your own private 787 to fly to your place in the Caribbean?
Well, here’s a little peek at what that might be like.
As you’d imagine, someone with the means to commission such an extravagant mode of transportation is usually pretty private. So, we can’t delve into too many details on this private 787 Dreamliner design concept from Winch Design, the London-based firm that specializes in designing interiors for superyachts, private aviation and ultra-high-end homes.
But I can say that the lucky owner of this luxurious aircraft can sleep in a large bed with high thread-count sheets, watch movies on an impossibly large flat screen in private airborne theater, and enjoy dinner on fine china around a lavishly set table with friends while soaring to any exclusive destination in the world.
In fact, these images provide a glimpse of what it might be like to fly around the world on a private plane that has more living space than many urban apartments—and houses in the suburbs too for that matter.
And what about the art? The Picassos make quite a statement, no?
Something tells me the bar will be stocked with something more substantial than the small bottles of bad wine and tiny packs of stale peanuts that well-meaning flight attendants in economy bestow upon those who end up in a middle seat, right?
