Designer Lisa Kahn found her inspiration for this Naples, Florida, waterfront property through a small collection of vintage glass floats, the kind used to keep fishing nets buoyant. The beautiful greens and blues of the sea glass anchor the color scheme throughout the home, helping achieve a design congruent with its surroundings. Continuing to pull from its environment, Lisa used woven raffia on the study walls echoing the textures of the landscape’s trees and grasses. French doors lead out to the pool. Tranquility is the result—this is a true sanctuary.

“My intention for this home was to design a sanctuary that takes advantage of the views of pristine conservation land beyond Old Harbour Cove. I wanted to bring these natural elements indoors with rattan walls, oiled oak floors, textures, and colors that connect with the water, flora, and sky.”
