The Lodge at Kukui’ula, part of a collection of Luxury Club Cottages, Club Bungalows, and Club Villas in the South Shore of Kaua’i, is elevating experiential travel by providing travelers with an opportunity to develop an expertise specific to the destination.
Launching January 2019, The Lodge will offer a monthly intensives series designed to empower members and lodge guests to take their outdoor experiences to the next level. The program is for the curious adventure seeker or individual inspired to learn the appropriate skill sets to confidently and self-reliantly continue activity engagement, all while exploring the island’s charm and gems.
Each three-day intensive kicks off with history, fundamentals, and lessons and ultimately ends with the individual successfully performing as a ‘pro’ in the activity. Each day also closes with the spa’s signature Wet Ritual (a tranquil experience from increasing the metabolism with ginger tonic at the service station to a Hawaiian sea salt and kukui nut oil scrub in all glass steam room surrounded by native Kauai plants and a lava rock sauna followed by a refreshing shower outdoors), while the final day ends with a healing spa recovery. The Lodge at Kukui’ula announced Two Roads Hospitality as the operating partner in fall 2018. Two Roads Hospitality has designed the intensives in conjunction with The Lodge.
