Grand Hyatt Baha Mar

This opulent hotel has something for every traveler, and it is the centerpiece of Baha Mar. The distinct East and West Towers provide 1,800 guestrooms, including more than 200 unique one, two and even three-bedroom suites that make it an ideal solution for families and groups. Grand Hyatt also manages 20 bars and restaurants under the watchful eye of Executive Chef Brent Martin, who maintains and exceeds the guest’s expectations. Also part of the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar is the 200,000 square foot indoor/outdoor convention facility, which connects directly to the Baha Mar Casino. Guests have immediate access to six expansive pools – including our favorite, Blue Hole, which is inspired by the natural saltwater blue holes of The Bahamas; and the pool experiences would not be complete without poolside cabanas and swim up bars.

What We Love: Though the property is very large, it maintains that intimate feeling, and the color palate in the rooms is pure Bahamian with the rich blues and dynamic patterns. The Reserve offers the best of all worlds when wanting an affordable full concierge option.

SLS Baha Mar

There is a lot to love about this hotel, and it is a favorite among traveling millennials for the offerings that are uniquely SLS. These 299 guestrooms (including 109 amazing residences) offer a trendy and luxurious solution with first-class service from start to finish. Service is key here, with all guests having access to the dedicated 24-hour room service; and each room includes a tablet that offers access to dining and cabana reservations, as well as their other luxury service offerings. SLS Baha Mar offers just over 12,000 square feet of designated event space for conventions and events. Guests can also enjoy the Privilege Pool, which lives up to its name by offering open-air cabanas, dedicated pool concierge services and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Guests need to also allow time to venture upstairs to Skybar – Nassau’s only rooftop lounge.
