Grace Bay brings new luxe living to Turks & Caicos

Grace Bay Resorts in Turks & Caicos will soon welcome to its luxury portfolio a new private enclave, The Residences, a gated micro-resort comprising three custom homes. Each home is located on a 95-foot-wide free- hold parcel of private beachfront and offers over 6,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, and 2,600 square feet of external space, featuring a private deck surrounding an infinity pool and outdoor shower. In addition, owners are provided access to the resort property’s common areas and amenities, including an owners’ library, fitness center, and ac- cess to the Grace Bay Club. While not in residence, owners can opt to rent their home.

Prices start at $3.7 million.

Miami prepares to welcome Echo Brickell

When it opens in December 2016, echo Brickell will rise 60 stories and 750 feet above Miami’s financial district, making it the tallest all-residential development on the city’s skyline.

With only 190 luxury residences, Echo Brickell fea- tures conceptual design by Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott. When complete, the development will consist of one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans spanning from the ninth to 42nd floors, and full- and half-floor penthouse units from the 43rd to 61st floors. Units will offer 10- to 14-foot ceilings, Apple smart-home technology, Wolf stoves and custom hoods, Sub-Zero appliances, and out- door barbecues on eight-foot terraces.

One of the most unique features of the exterior of the project is an open space located in the cutout through the middle floors of the tower that will house a full-floor pool deck, allowing residents to swim from one side of the building to the other. A fitness center and spa will be suspended over the pool. Other services and ameni- ties include a cutting-edge parking system, resort-style poolside service, 24-hour concierge, and ground-floor retail space.

Echo Brickell is being developed by JDS Development Group and Property Markets Group.

Prices range from $500,000 to $8 million.

LEED-standard living comes to Miami

Located at NE 27th Street and Biscayne Bay in Miami, The Crimson is a LEED Silver project, which will feature one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences, penthouses, and townhomes. Its units will range from approximately 780 to 1,600 square feet, spanning nine different floor plans. The building will also offer six penthouses equipped with an outdoor terrace, summer kitchen, and private hot tub. Each residence will come with a designated storage unit in the parking garage. The amenities of The Crimson, also referred to as the C-Club, will include an eighth-floor pool deck, a landscaped promenade sundeck, a hot tub, an outdoor/indoor mini-theater, a cybercafe?, a lounge, a business center, a zen room, a fitness center, and a spa. As a LEED Silver building, The Crimson will provides variable refrigerant flow for each unit, which yields low-energy and high-efficiency cooling and heating. Prices range from $370 to $570 per square foot. The Crimson’s projected opening date is mid-2015.
