MariSol Malibu recently broke ground for their new 11,000 square foot cutting-edge modern masterpiece.

The 80-acre, 17 estate project was introduced to a crowd of local residents by co-developers Richard Morris and Ronald Coleman.

Superstar architect Doug Burdge stated, “due to the Coastal Commission exemption and freedom from city restrictions which all homes in MariSol enjoy, nowhere along the entire Malibu coast, other than MariSol, could an oceanfront home of this size be built on a one-acre lot.”

Developers expect the project to be complete in just 15 months and fully furnished. The two-story, 7 bed, 9 bath home will include a guest house and 5 years of complimentary maintenance.

A reception was held after the groundbreaking at the MariSol Spanish Estate, where guests enjoyed tastes from Antonio Alessi’s new restaurant, Mangia, while sipping Malibu Wines and Malibu Mary cocktails.
