Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, the first luxury, private-island resort development to be built in the British Virgin Islands in more than 15 years, is now offering four new Longview Villas for purchase. With expansive views of the Caribbean’s turquoise waters and surrounding islands, these private villa estates range from two to six bedrooms, and offer between 3,000 and more than 6,000 square feet of luxurious space.

Perched atop one of the highest points on Scrub Island, the grandest villa in the collection is The Spinnaker House, a lavish six-bedroom, six-bath with stunning southward Caribbean views across the channel to Marina Cay and Tortola. Listed for just over $5 million, this villa has a finish date of July 2017. Brushed by the steady breeze of the trade winds, The Drake House is a four-bedroom, four-bathroom villa on the southern tip of the island. With breathtaking views of Sir Francis Drake Channel, Marina Cay and Tortola, The Drake House will be ready for occupancy in August and is listed for $3.85 million.

For a more intimate retreat, buyers can choose between two exceptional three-bedroom, four-bathroom villas – The Shoreline House and The Leeward House. One of the island’s most secluded villas, The Leeward House offers a bird’s eye view of North Beach during the day and fantastic stargazing by night. The Leeward House is offered at $3.41 million and will make its debut in September. Boasting close proximity to the water’s edge and the award-winning Ixora Spa, The Shoreline House will be unveiled in January 2018 and is priced at $3.19 million.

Each Longview Villa features large balconies and terraces as well as Subzero and Wolf appliances, enclosed rain showers and infinity-edged or plunge pools. Hirsch Bedner Associates designed the interiors of the Hillside Villas with dark woods and light walls to convey a British West Indies inspiration. The villas also feature local artwork, custom furnishings, king-size beds with luxury linens, bamboo ceiling fans, and flat panel televisions. Large sliding windows and doors when fully open invite the balmy trade winds and display unobstructed views. Each bathroom is grand in size and splendor, with granite-top twin-vanity, rainforest shower, and a soaking tub. Exteriors of each villa, designed by architectural design firm OBMI, speak to a British Colonial-style with distinct touches of Caribbean in a village-inspired setting.
