One of the best features of Valley Trunk Estate is the beautiful beachfront Bali House. The house was discovered in Bali by the Wildenstein family, deconstructed and rebuilt on the Estate property. It is an enchanting setting to enjoy a meal or relax amid tropical gardens overlooking the beach. On our last night of the trip, the chef prepared an outstanding feast followed by a surprise bonfire on the beach under the stars.
The Relaxed Vibe
The vibe at Valley Trunk Estate is relaxed and refreshing. You feel as if you are staying in a family’s estate where all your needs are magically met. The property is designed to comfortably accommodate 16, however special arrangements can be made for larger groups. Eight individual bedroom suites are spacious and the perfect place to rest after a day outdoors. Each villa has a unique charm and décor that is simple and sophisticated. The family has lovingly maintained the Estate’s original intent to be a private retreat where memories are magically made. Indoor and outdoor spaces make for easy living. I can easily imagine friends enjoying cocktails by the pool as well as see children creating sand castles on the beach and skipping along the paths.
The Gorgeous Grounds
Meandering around the gorgeous grounds of Valley Trunk Estate is a spiritual and colorful tribute to the glories of nature. It truly is a private paradise where colors seem to be in high definition and paths organically lead you to surprising places and spaces. You will feel like you are in nirvana strolling around the 19 acres of gorgeous gardens along the beach.
Divine Dining
The cuisine at Valley Trunk Estate, crafted by a private chef, is simply divine. Fresh and locally sourced ingredients are exquisitely prepared to your own personal preferences. The experience was less like island dining and more akin to enjoying a meal in a fine restaurant. The same elevated quality was delivered when the chef prepared a mobile feast for our yacht excursion.
Xanadu
The use of the property’s 68’ luxury motor yacht Xanadu is part of the package (excluding fuel). We had a fabulous time snorkeling in the delcious water and seeing homes of luminaries such as Richard Branson.
The Lovable Staff
The staff at Valley Trunk Estate is warm and welcoming, catering to your every need. Whether you want a special breakfast whipped up, a shirt laundered and pressed, a ride down the road or a private yogi at your service, the staff joyfully fulfills your wishes.
Activities Abound
Our resident yogi set the intentions for a glorious day with a nice series of stretches and poses by the infinity pool. Along with a swim in the sea, you can enjoy enjoy tennis, working out or a brisk walk around the property’s gorgeous trails.
It’s close to Virgin Gorda’s favorite places.
Whether you want to visit Virgin Gorda’s well-known Baths, hike the trail to Gorda Peak, island hop, fish or dive, activities are all close by and the crew is more than happy to take you around the island.
