Celebrated Auberge resort, Malliouhana, relaunches this November after a three- year closure and redesign. The legendary Anguilla resort underwent a top-to-bottom renovation, including the creation of 44 ocean-view rooms and suites, an open-air cliff-side restaurant and a two-tiered infinity pool. Auberge Resorts Collection partnered with hospitality firm SB Architects and Todd Avery Lenahan of TAL Studio on the redesign. “One of our primary goals was to open the resort up to the spectacular views of the sea,” says Scott Lee, of SB Architects. “We took down walls, framed views, terraced the cliff-side restaurant, and redesigned the pool, all to enhance the hotel’s connection with the view and the sea.” Taking inspiration from the hotel’s all-white color palette and iconic elongated arches, Lee preserved iconic elements and took them up a notch for added elegance. aubergeresorts.com
